Bio

Tim grew up in South Carolina, and has served churches  in Lynchburg and Marion. He began his duties as senior pastor of Central  in October 1995.  

He received his undergraduate degree from the Francis  Marion University in Florence and a Masters of Divinity Degree with  languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest,  NC. 

Tim’s other interests include reading, golfing and traveling with his wife as well as preaching and teaching God's Word.  The Cokers have led several marriage enrichment seminars.  

Tim's love for the Lord shows in his ministry as he  works with people of all ages. His strength is in small groups and  leadership training.
